The Waterloo Center for the Arts announces the opening of inaugural exhibits in its new Urban Art Gallery Project, a series of art installations in downtown storefront spaces.

Join us for a special sidewalk celebration on Friday, June 17, 2011.

Marsh Place Gallery
East 5th St. & Sycamore

Artist Sarah Kolar will present a gallery talk about her new sculpture exhibition currently on view in the space. Refreshments will be served. 5:00-5:30 pm.

Union Block Gallery
114 East 4th Street

Works by Fort Dodge artist Richard Kopp will be on display. Kopp creatively uses recycled materials in his art.

Park Square Gallery
512 Mulberry Street (across from Lincoln Park)

Drop in during the Friday’loo celebration and help AmeriCorps create a “Green Iowa” mural for display at this site.
